Conference Introduction

With the continuous advancement of the world's scientific and technological level, the threshold of technological innovation is also increasing. International scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation can give full play to the technological advantages of countries, significantly improve the efficiency of technological innovation, and at the same time, the research results can benefit all parties, thereby promoting technological cooperation. With benign development, international technological innovation cooperation has become normalized. As a big developing country, with the continuous economic growth and the continuous improvement of the people's living standards, the demand for new products and technologies is increasing day by day. It is difficult to rely solely on the domestic technical level to fully meet national development needs. Australia is an important supplier of various raw materials and a country of many advanced material technologies, while China has a huge market for consuming a variety of Australian material resources and new technologies. The establishment of broader China-Australia technical exchanges and cooperation is conducive to the development of the two countries and serves the fundamental interests of the two peoples. Therefore, both China and Australia urgently need to strengthen exchanges in the field of science and technology. Through the establishment of a more complete cooperative R&D platform and the improvement of technical cooperation mechanisms, the two sides continue to strengthen cooperation in advanced technological innovation so that the economic pillars of the two countries can be fully developed.

In order to further strengthen exchanges in the field and fully promote Sino-Australian academic exchanges and technical cooperation, Southeast University, Monash University and the Suzhou Municipal Government were scheduled to host the China-Australia Advanced Technology Innovation Forum in October, registration on October 21, and October 22 main conference time. The forum aimed to discuss the development trends of advanced technologies such as cities, energy environment, advanced materials and manufacturing, advanced computing science and engineering, and biomedicine in the future, and build an international exchange and cooperation platform. More than 20 Chinese and Australian academicians, experts and scholars gathered at the forum and give a wonderful report. This forum will last three days. The first day (October 22) focused on the discussion of innovation, entrepreneurship strategies and policies of universities, governments and enterprises. Leaders from well-known universities in China and Australia, leaders from government education and technology departments, and entrepreneurs will gather together to discuss the future development of technological innovation, share the status quo of technological innovation, explore effective ways of cooperation and development, promote Develop together. The second and third day of the forum (October 23-24) held concurrently with China's most influential nanotechnology exchange event, the tenth CHInano.

This forum was a sub-session of the 10th China International Nanotechnology Industry Expo. The CHInano2019 held in Suzhou from October 23-25, 2019. It is always China's most authoritative and largest international conference on the application of nanotechnology. The conference was composed of summits (plenary speech, technical branches, application forums), exhibitions, and matchmaking sessions, focusing on new nanomaterials, micro-nano manufacturing, energy and clean technology, nanobiotechnology, and other industrial fields to create an international nanotechnology industry exchange and cooperation platform.

崔磊 (同济大学/国家组织工程与细胞再生医学学会/中国生物医学工程学会 教授、秘书长、理事 Professor)
崔磊,男,1968年⽣。⾸都医科⼤学附属北京世纪坛医院整形外科主 任、中⼼实验室主任。同济⼤学医学院再⽣医学系教授、博⼠⽣导师。任中国 医师协会整形外科分会委员,中国整形美容协会抗衰⽼分会副会⻓、中国整形 美容协会医学美容重点实验室主任、中国医促会肿瘤整形外科分会常委、中国 医促会烧伤与慢性创⾯分会常委。曾任中国⽣物医学⼯程学会理事、“中华医学 科技奖”评审专家等学术职务。1998年毕业于上海交通⼤学医学院(上海第⼆ 医科⼤学)。先后从事整形外科临床、⼲细胞与组织⼯程研究、再⽣医学与抗 衰⽼临床应⽤转化等⼯作。

Gang Ruan (Nanjing University Professor)
Biological delivery with nanomaterials: a discovery-driven approach
Professor Gang Ruan received his PhD from the National University of Singapore. He worked at Emory University as a postdoctoral researcher and at the Ohio State University, first as a postdoctoral researcher and then as research scientist. He is currently a professor of biomedical engineering at Nanjing University. He was recruited to Nanjing University through the Thousand Global Young Talents program. His laboratory’s research thrusts include nano-assembly, biological delivery, neuromedicine technology, and regenerative medicine technology. He has published ~40 scholarly papers in peer-reviewed journals. He served as a guest editor for themed issues of Journal of Materials Chemistry B, Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE), and Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology. He has ~15 patent applications, including one granted US patent and one granted Chinese patent. He is a co-founder of Core Quantum Technologies, an Ohio-based company commercializing nanomaterials-based biomedical technologies.

宋锡滨,男,教授级高工,享受国务院特殊津贴专家、国家制造业转型升级基金委员、泰山产业领军人才、山东省“十强”产业智库专家。现任山东国瓷功能材料股份有限公司董事、首席技术官、新型功能材料国家企业技术中心主任,还兼任中国工程陶瓷学会副理事长、稀土行业协会理事、山东省硅酸盐学会理事、全国新材料与纳米计量技术委员会副主任委员、山东省新材料产业协会监事长等。申请发明专利120多项,主持的科研成果曾获得国家科学技术进步二等奖、中国专利金奖等多项国家级奖励。主持或参与了国际标准3项、国家标准7项、行业和团体标准8项。主持了国家强基工程、省重大专项等10余项省级以上重大创新工程项目。

崔义 (中国科学院苏州纳米技术与纳米仿生研究所 副主任)
崔义,大连理工大学本科,中科院大连化物所博士,师从包信和院士。2011-2015年于德国从事博士后研究工作,获得洪堡学者支持。2015年8月入职中科院苏州纳米所,目前是纳米真空互联实验站副主任,研究员,博士生导师。于2016年入选国家高层次人才“青年项目”,2017年获评江苏省双创人才。研究领域主要围绕能源催化,二维材料,半导体器件中的表界面科学问题展开。
